Dean Atta

Dean Atta is a British poet, writer, and performer. He is best known for his work exploring identity, race, and LGBTQ+ issues. Atta has been featured in publications such as The Guardian, The Independent, and The New York Times. He has also been commissioned to write for the BBC, The Royal Court Theatre, and The Roundhouse. Atta has won numerous awards for his work, including the 2018 Mayor of London's Writer in Residence Award and the 2019 Arts Foundation Fellowship for Poetry. He is currently working on his debut collection of poetry, which is due to be released in 2021.
