Mel Giedroyc is an English comedian, presenter, actress, and writer. She is best known for her work on the BBC comedy sketch show The Fast Show, as well as her presenting roles on shows such as Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief, The Great British Bake Off, and The Generation Game. Giedroyc has also appeared in films such as Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie and Yesterday. She is a regular panelist on the BBC Radio 4 comedy show I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, and has written for publications such as The Guardian and The Sunday Times. Giedroyc is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and is a patron of the charity Stonewall.
