Amity Gaige
Amity Gaige is an American novelist and short story writer. She is best known for her novels Schroder and The Folded World. Gaige was born in New York City and grew up in Connecticut. She attended Yale University and received her MFA from the University of California, Irvine. Gaige's work has been published in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and The New York Times. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Bard Fiction Prize, the Pushcart Prize, and the Rome Prize.
