Nora Lester Murad is an award-winning journalist, author, and public speaker. She is the founder of the nonprofit organization, The Moth, which works to empower women and girls through storytelling. She has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Guardian, among other publications. She is the author of two books, “The Moth: 50 True Stories” and “The Moth Presents All These Wonders.” She has been featured on NPR, BBC, and TEDx, and has spoken at the United Nations and the White House. Nora is passionate about using storytelling to create positive change in the world.
