Anne Tyler

Anne Tyler is an American novelist, short story writer, and literary critic. She is best known for her novels, which often focus on the lives of ordinary people in Baltimore, Maryland. Tyler has won numerous awards for her work, including the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1989 for her novel Breathing Lessons. She has also been nominated for the National Book Award and the Orange Prize for Fiction. Tyler's writing style is characterized by its warmth and humor, and her characters are often portrayed as complex and flawed individuals.
