Richard Dawkins
Richard Dawkins is an evolutionary biologist, ethologist, and author. He is best known for his popular science books, including The Selfish Gene, The Blind Watchmaker, and The God Delusion. Dawkins is an outspoken atheist and a prominent critic of creationism and intelligent design. He has also written extensively on the evolutionary basis of religious belief and the power of science to explain the natural world. Dawkins is a Fellow of the Royal Society and a recipient of numerous awards, including the Kistler Prize and the Shakespeare Prize. He is currently a professor emeritus at the University of Oxford.
