Dave Goulson

Dave Goulson is a British biologist and professor of biology at the University of Sussex. He is best known for his work on the conservation of bumblebees and other wild pollinators. He is the founder of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, a charity dedicated to the conservation of bumblebees and other wild pollinators. He has written several books on the subject, including A Sting in the Tale and The Garden Jungle. He has also been awarded numerous awards for his work, including the Royal Society of Biology's Marsh Award for Conservation Biology and the Royal Society's Darwin Medal. He is a passionate advocate for the protection of the natural world and has been a vocal critic of the use of neonicotinoid pesticides.
