Jill Santopolo is an American author and editor. She is best known for her New York Times bestselling novel The Light We Lost, which has been translated into over 30 languages. She is also the author of the young adult novel The Lonely Hearts Club, and the adult novels The Firebird and More Than Words. Santopolo has worked as an editor at Penguin Random House, and has taught writing at Columbia University and The New School. She is a graduate of Yale University and the Columbia University School of the Arts. Santopolo is passionate about creating stories that explore the complexities of relationships and the power of love.
