Elizabeth Day is an award-winning British author, journalist and broadcaster. She is best known for her novels Scissors Paper Stone, The Party and Home Fires, as well as her podcast, How To Fail. She has written for publications such as The Guardian, The Observer, The Sunday Times and The New York Times. She has also appeared on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live and Sky News. Elizabeth is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and has spoken openly about her own struggles with depression. She is a patron of the charity Mind and a founding member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Wellbeing Economics.
