Neil Gaiman
Neil Gaiman is an English author of short fiction, novels, comic books, graphic novels, audio theatre, and films. He is best known for the comic book series The Sandman and novels Stardust, American Gods, Coraline, and The Graveyard Book. Gaiman's writing has won numerous awards, including the Hugo, Nebula, and Bram Stoker awards, as well as the Newbery and Carnegie medals. He has been listed in the Dictionary of Literary Biography as one of the top ten living post-modern writers, and was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time magazine in 2010. Gaiman's work has been adapted for film, television, and radio, including the BBC Radio 4 adaptation of Neverwhere. He has also written scripts for Doctor Who and Babylon 5.
