Rebecca Roanhorse

Rebecca Roanhorse is an award-winning speculative fiction writer and the author of the novel Trail of Lightning. She is a member of the Cherokee Nation and her work often focuses on Indigenous themes and characters. Roanhorse has won the Nebula, Hugo, and Locus awards for her short fiction, and her novel Trail of Lightning was a finalist for the 2019 Hugo Award. She is also the author of the novel Storm of Locusts, the short story collection Resistance Reborn, and the upcoming novel Black Sun. Roanhorse is a passionate advocate for Indigenous representation in literature and media.
