C Pam Zhang
C Pam Zhang is a writer, editor, and educator based in Brooklyn, New York. She is the author of the novel How Much of These Hills Is Gold, which was longlisted for the 2020 National Book Award and won the 2021 PEN/Hemingway Award. She is also the co-editor of the anthology Bettering American Poetry and the editor of the literary magazine Apogee. Zhang has been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the MacDowell Colony, and the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Paris Review, and elsewhere. She is currently a professor of creative writing at the New School.
