Imbolo Mbue
Imbolo Mbue is a Cameroonian-American novelist and short story writer. She is best known for her debut novel, Behold the Dreamers, which won the 2017 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction and was a finalist for the 2017 National Book Critics Circle Award. Mbue's work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Guardian. She has also been featured in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and The Paris Review. Mbue is a graduate of Rutgers University and Columbia University. She currently lives in New York City with her husband and two children. Mbue's writing focuses on the immigrant experience, exploring themes of identity, family, and belonging.
