Curtis Sittenfeld
Curtis Sittenfeld is an American author best known for her novels, which often explore the complexities of family life and social class. She has written five novels, including the best-selling Prep, American Wife, and Sisterland. Her short stories have appeared in The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and other publications. She has also written for television, including the series The L Word and the upcoming Hulu series, The Great. Sittenfeld is a graduate of Stanford University and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She currently lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with her husband and two children.
