Scott Hawkins

Scott Hawkins is an American author of literary fiction. He is best known for his debut novel, The Library at Mount Char, which was published in 2015. He has since published two more novels, The Last Days of Night and The Wife Upstairs. Hawkins is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. He has been a finalist for the Nebula Award, the Shirley Jackson Award, and the World Fantasy Award. He currently lives in Iowa City, Iowa, where he teaches creative writing at the University of Iowa. He is an avid reader and enjoys exploring the outdoors.
