David Mitchell

David Mitchell is an English comedian, actor, writer, and television presenter. He is best known for his work on the British comedy series Peep Show, for which he won the British Academy Television Award for Best Comedy Performance. He has also appeared in a number of films, including The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Shaun of the Dead, and The Boat That Rocked. Mitchell is also a regular panelist on the BBC comedy quiz show Would I Lie to You? and is the host of the BBC panel show, Have I Got News for You. He is a frequent collaborator with Robert Webb, with whom he co-wrote the sitcoms Peep Show and Ambassadors. Mitchell is also a published author, having written the novel, Back Story, and the memoir, David Mitchell: Back Story.
