Jesse J. Holland
Jesse J. Holland is an award-winning journalist and author. He is a former Associated Press national writer and has written for The Washington Post, The New York Times, and USA Today. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book, The Invisibles: The Untold Story of African American Slaves in the White House. He is also the author of the novel, The Inventor and the Tycoon: A Gilded Age Murder and the Birth of Moving Pictures. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the National Press Club Award for Excellence in Journalism. He currently lives in Washington, D.C. and continues to write and speak about the history of African Americans in the United States.
