Peter Ho Davies
Peter Ho Davies is an award-winning British-American novelist and short story writer. Born in England to a Welsh father and Chinese mother, he grew up in the United States and attended Harvard University. His debut novel, The Welsh Girl, was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and won the Society of Authors' McKitterick Prize. His other works include The Fortunes, a novel about the Chinese American experience, and Equal Love, a collection of short stories. He has also written for film and television, including the Emmy-nominated miniseries The Terror. He currently teaches creative writing at the University of Michigan.
