James Poskett
James Poskett is a British historian and academic. He is currently a professor of history at the University of York, where he has been since 2011. He is an expert in the history of science and medicine, and has written extensively on the history of science in the 19th and 20th centuries. He is the author of several books, including 'The Invention of Science: A New History of the Scientific Revolution' and 'The Science of the Soul: The History of Medicine in the Enlightenment'. He is also a frequent contributor to BBC Radio 4 and other media outlets. He is passionate about making history accessible to everyone, and has been involved in numerous public engagement projects.
