Max Hastings
Max Hastings is a British journalist, historian, and author. He has written more than 20 books, including the acclaimed histories of World War II, The Battle for the Falklands, and All Hell Let Loose. He has also written extensively on the Vietnam War, the Korean War, and the Cold War. He is a former editor of the Daily Telegraph and the Evening Standard, and is a regular contributor to the BBC. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a member of the Order of the British Empire. He has won numerous awards for his writing, including the Wolfson History Prize and the Orwell Prize for Journalism.
