Glenn Dakin is a British author, illustrator, and cartoonist. He is best known for his work on the comic series, The Beano, and for his illustrations in the children's book series, The Worst Witch. He has also written and illustrated several books of his own, including The Big Book of Little Criminals and The Big Book of Little Monsters. He has been a professional cartoonist since the late 1970s, and has been a regular contributor to magazines and newspapers such as The Guardian, The Independent, and The Times. He is also a regular contributor to the BBC Radio 4 show, The Now Show. He is passionate about encouraging children to read and write, and has been a judge for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize.
