Monique Roffey

Monique Roffey is a Trinidadian-British author and journalist. She is the author of five novels, including The White Woman on the Green Bicycle, which was shortlisted for the Costa Book Award and the Orange Prize for Fiction. She is also the author of the memoir With the Kisses of His Mouth. Roffey has written for The Guardian, The Independent, The Sunday Times, and The Observer. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a member of the Society of Authors. She is currently working on her sixth novel, which is set in Trinidad. Roffey is passionate about writing and exploring the complexities of human relationships.
