Linnea Hartsuyker
Linnea Hartsuyker is an American author of historical fiction. She is best known for her debut novel, The Half-Drowned King, which was a New York Times bestseller and was named one of the best books of 2017 by NPR. Hartsuyker's second novel, The Sea Queen, was released in 2018 and was a finalist for the 2019 International DUBLIN Literary Award. Hartsuyker has a degree in English from Harvard University and a master's degree in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia. She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and two children. Hartsuyker is passionate about exploring the stories of the past and bringing them to life in her writing.
