Sebastian Faulks

Sebastian Faulks is a British novelist, journalist, and broadcaster. He was born in 1953 in Newbury, Berkshire, and was educated at Wellington College and Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He has written several novels, including Birdsong, Charlotte Gray, and A Week in December. He has also written non-fiction works, such as The Fatal Englishman and Human Traces. He is a regular contributor to newspapers and magazines, and has presented several radio and television programmes. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and was awarded an OBE in 2002. He lives in London with his wife and three children.
