Denise Mina
Denise Mina is a Scottish crime writer, playwright, and comic book writer. She is best known for her Garnethill trilogy, which won the Crime Writers' Association John Creasey Dagger Award for Best First Crime Novel. She has also written several standalone novels, including The End of the Wasp Season, which won the Theakston's Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award. Mina has also written for the stage, television, and comics, including the graphic novel adaptation of Stieg Larsson's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. She is currently working on a new series of novels featuring the character Alex Morrow.
