Lydia Syson
Lydia Syson is a British author and playwright. She is best known for her historical fiction novels, which explore the lives of ordinary people in extraordinary times. Her debut novel, A World Between Us, was shortlisted for the Costa Children’s Book Award and the Carnegie Medal. Her other works include The Star Outside My Window, The Memory Cage, and The Girl Who Walked on Air. She has also written plays for the stage and radio, and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4. Lydia is passionate about bringing history to life for young readers, and her work has been praised for its vivid characters and engaging storytelling.
