Rose Tremain is an acclaimed British novelist, short story writer, and biographer. She has written numerous award-winning books, including The Road Home, The Colour, and Restoration. Tremain has been shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize three times, and won the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2009.
