Francis Spufford
Francis Spufford is an English writer and historian. He is best known for his works of non-fiction, which explore the history of science, technology, and culture. He has written several books, including The Child That Books Built, Unapologetic, and Golden Hill. He has also written for The Guardian, The New York Times, and The London Review of Books. Spufford has won numerous awards, including the Royal Society of Literature Ondaatje Prize, the Somerset Maugham Award, and the Costa Book Award. He is currently a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
