Gill Hornby

Gill Hornby is an English author and journalist. She is the daughter of the late author and playwright, Robert Harling, and the sister of the late novelist, Nick Hornby. She has written several novels, including The Hive, Miss Austen, and The School Run. She has also written for The Guardian, The Sunday Times, and The Telegraph. Hornby is a passionate advocate for literacy and education, and is a patron of the National Literacy Trust. She is also a trustee of the charity, BookTrust. Hornby is a passionate believer in the power of books to transform lives, and her work is a testament to that belief.
