Gill Hornby is an English author and journalist. She is the daughter of the late author and playwright, Robert Harling, and the sister of the late novelist, Nick Hornby. Hornby is a passionate advocate for literacy and education, and is a patron of the National Literacy Trust. She is also a trustee of the charity, BookTrust.
