Tariq Ali

Tariq Ali is a British-Pakistani writer, filmmaker, and political activist. He is a prominent figure in the New Left movement and has written extensively on world history and politics. He is the author of several books, including The Clash of Fundamentalisms, The Stone Woman, and The Duel: Pakistan on the Flight Path of American Power. He is also a regular contributor to The Guardian, The London Review of Books, and The New Left Review. Ali is a vocal critic of US foreign policy and has been a vocal advocate for the rights of the oppressed. He is a strong supporter of the Palestinian cause and has been a vocal critic of the War on Terror. He is a passionate advocate for social justice and human rights.
