Amor Towles

Amor Towles is an American author of historical fiction. He is best known for his bestselling novels, Rules of Civility and A Gentleman in Moscow. Towles was born in Massachusetts and graduated from Yale University. He worked in the financial industry for over two decades before becoming a full-time writer. His works have been translated into over thirty languages and have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. Towles has been praised for his vivid storytelling and his ability to capture the essence of a bygone era. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
