Victor Hugo
Victor Hugo (1802-1885) was a French poet, novelist, and dramatist of the Romantic movement. He is considered one of the greatest and best-known French writers. Hugo's works have been translated into more than 100 languages and he is the most widely read French author of all time. He is best known for his novels Les Misérables and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, as well as a number of highly regarded poems.
