Francis Manapul is a Filipino-Canadian comic book artist and writer. He is best known for his work on DC Comics' The Flash, Detective Comics, and Adventure Comics. He has also worked on other titles such as Witchblade, The Necromancer, and The Titans. Manapul has won several awards for his work, including the Joe Shuster Award for Outstanding Artist in 2011. He is currently working on the DC Comics series Batman/Superman and is the co-creator of the Image Comics series The Necromancer. Manapul is also a regular contributor to the DC Comics blog, The Source. He is an advocate for diversity in comics and is passionate about creating stories that reflect the world we live in.
