Tom Defalco

Tom DeFalco is an American comic book writer and editor, best known for his work on Marvel Comics' Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and Thor titles. He has also written for Archie Comics, DC Comics, and Image Comics. DeFalco began his career in the 1970s, working as an assistant editor for Marvel Comics. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming an editor in 1978 and eventually Editor-in-Chief in 1987. During his tenure, DeFalco oversaw some of Marvel's most successful titles, including The Amazing Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, and The Uncanny X-Men. He also wrote several of Marvel's most popular titles, including The Amazing Spider-Man, The Spectacular Spider-Man, and Thor. DeFalco has been inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame and the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame. He continues to write and edit comics today, and is widely respected for his contributions to the industry.
