Robert Waldinger

Robert Waldinger is an American psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and professor at Harvard Medical School. He is best known for his research on the Harvard Study of Adult Development, which has been running since 1938 and is one of the longest-running studies of adult life. Waldinger has been the director of the study since 2005 and has published numerous articles and books on the findings of the study. He is also a lecturer at Harvard University and a clinical professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Waldinger's research focuses on the importance of relationships and social connections for physical and mental health.
