Elizabeth Wetmore

Elizabeth Wetmore is an American author and poet. She is best known for her debut novel, Valentine, which was published in 2020. The novel tells the story of a small Texas town in the 1970s, and the lives of the women who inhabit it. Wetmore's writing is lyrical and evocative, and her characters are complex and deeply human. Her work has been praised for its unflinching exploration of the struggles of women in a patriarchal society. Wetmore's writing is also marked by a deep empathy for her characters, and a keen eye for the beauty and tragedy of everyday life.
