Francesca Zappia is an American author of young adult fiction. She is best known for her debut novel, Eliza and Her Monsters, which was a New York Times bestseller and won the 2018 William C. Morris Award. She has also written the novels Made You Up and Shadow of the Fox. Zappia graduated from DePauw University with a degree in Creative Writing and Spanish. She is passionate about mental health awareness and representation in literature. She currently lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she is working on her next novel.
