Maureen Johnson

Maureen Johnson is an American author of young adult fiction. She is best known for her Shades of London series, which follows the adventures of Rory Deveaux, an American student attending a London boarding school. Johnson has also written several stand-alone novels, including 13 Little Blue Envelopes and The Key to the Golden Firebird. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and currently lives in Philadelphia. She is an active member of the writing community, often participating in writing workshops and conferences. Johnson is passionate about creating stories that are both entertaining and thought-provoking, and her work has been praised for its wit and charm.
