Alex Jadad is a Canadian physician, researcher, and social entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada. He is also the co-founder of the global mHealth Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health outcomes through the use of mobile and digital technologies. Jadad is a leader in the field of digital health, and has been recognized for his work in the areas of patient engagement, health literacy, and health system transformation. He has authored numerous publications and has been awarded numerous awards, including the Order of Canada and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
