Gabriela Camara
Gabriela Camara is a Mexican chef, restaurateur, and author. She is the founder of Contramar, a popular seafood restaurant in Mexico City, and Cala, a Mexican-Californian restaurant in San Francisco. She is also the author of the cookbook, My Mexico City Kitchen. Camara is passionate about preserving Mexican culinary traditions and creating innovative dishes that celebrate the country’s diverse flavors. She has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, Food & Wine, and Bon Appétit. Camara is a strong advocate for sustainability and works with local farmers and fishermen to source the freshest ingredients for her restaurants.
