Sami Tamimi
Sami Tamimi is a Palestinian-British chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author. He is best known for his work in the culinary world, particularly for his award-winning cookbook, Falastin, which celebrates the flavors of Palestine. Tamimi has worked in some of the world’s most renowned restaurants, including The River Café in London and The Fat Duck in Bray. He is the co-founder of the popular Middle Eastern restaurant chain, Ottolenghi, and is the author of several other cookbooks, including Ottolenghi: The Cookbook and Jerusalem: A Cookbook. Tamimi is passionate about sharing the flavors of his homeland with the world and is a strong advocate for Palestinian cuisine.
