Piers Torday
Piers Torday is a British author and screenwriter. He is best known for his children's fantasy novels, The Last Wild trilogy, which has been translated into over 20 languages. He has also written several adult novels, including The Last Wild, The Dark Wild, and The Wild Beyond. Torday has written for television, including the BBC series Wolfblood, and has written for the stage, including the play The Last Wild. He is a patron of the charity Arts Emergency, which helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds access the arts. He is also a trustee of the charity BookTrust, which promotes reading and writing.
