Lilli Beese

Lilli Beese was a pioneering aviator and the first female commercial pilot in Germany. Born in 1891, she was a member of the German Air Sports Association and was the first woman to receive a pilot's license in Germany in 1921. She was a passionate advocate for women's rights and was a vocal supporter of the Women's Air Sports Association. She was also a successful businesswoman, owning and operating her own flying school. She was a true trailblazer, inspiring generations of female pilots and inspiring women to pursue their dreams. Her legacy lives on today, and she is remembered as a pioneering figure in the history of aviation.
