Melinda Salisbury is a British author of young adult fiction. She is best known for her debut novel, The Sin Eater's Daughter, which was published in 2015 and was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize. Salisbury has since written two more books in the series, as well as a standalone novel, The Sleeping Prince. She is passionate about creating stories that explore themes of identity, family, and friendship. Salisbury is also an advocate for mental health awareness and has spoken publicly about her own struggles with depression. She currently lives in the UK with her family.
