David Baldacci is an American author of thriller novels. He has published over 30 best-selling books, including Absolute Power, The Camel Club, and The Finisher. He has also written several children's books, including the bestselling Freddy and the French Fries series. Baldacci was born in Virginia and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Virginia School of Law. He worked as a lawyer for nine years before becoming a full-time writer. His books have been translated into over 45 languages and sold in over 80 countries. He is a member of the International Thriller Writers and the Mystery Writers of America.
