Kate Messner is an award-winning children's author and educator. She has written over 40 books, including the popular Ranger in Time series, The Seventh Wish, and The Brilliant Deep. She is also the author of the nonfiction picture book, Chirp, which won the E.B. White Read Aloud Award. Messner has been a teacher and school librarian for over 20 years, and she is passionate about inspiring young readers.
