Marissa Meyer is an American novelist and former executive at Google. She is best known for writing the bestselling Lunar Chronicles series, which includes Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, and Winter. Meyer also wrote the standalone novel Heartless, as well as the graphic novel series Wires and Nerve. She has been praised for her imaginative and creative writing, as well as her ability to craft strong female characters. Meyer is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a degree in Computer Science and a Master's in Creative Writing. She currently lives in Tacoma, Washington with her husband and three sons.
