Puffin

Puffins are small seabirds that belong to the auk family. They are easily recognizable by their colorful beaks and bright orange feet. Puffins are found in the northern hemisphere, mainly in the North Atlantic and North Pacific oceans. They are excellent swimmers and can dive up to 60 meters in search of food. Puffins feed mainly on small fish, crustaceans, and mollusks. They nest in large colonies on coastal cliffs and islands. Puffins are monogamous and mate for life. They lay one egg per year and both parents take turns incubating the egg and feeding the chick. Puffins are a beloved species and are considered a symbol of the ocean.
