Geraldine McCaughrean is an award-winning British author of children's literature. She has written over 130 books, including the Carnegie Medal-winning novel A Pack of Lies. Her other works include The Kite Rider, Not the End of the World, and The White Darkness. McCaughrean has also written plays, musicals, and radio plays. She has been honored with numerous awards, including the Hans Christian Andersen Award, the Whitbread Children's Book Award, and the Guardian Children's Fiction Prize.
