Kenneth Grahame
Kenneth Grahame was a British writer, most famous for his classic children's novel The Wind in the Willows. Born in Edinburgh in 1859, Grahame was raised in England and attended Oxford University. After graduating, he worked in the banking industry, eventually becoming Secretary of the Bank of England. In addition to The Wind in the Willows, Grahame wrote several other books, including Dream Days and The Golden Age. He also wrote a number of short stories, including "The Reluctant Dragon" and "The Mouse's Tale". Grahame's works are known for their vivid descriptions of nature and their gentle humor. He died in 1932, leaving behind a legacy of beloved stories that continue to be enjoyed by readers of all ages.
